TERMS INDEX

Stake verification terms explained

Verification steps use words that are easy to misread, such as KYC and Level 2. This index defines them in plain language and places each one at the step it belongs to, so a request for documents is easier to understand.

  • KYC
  • Level 2
  • Proof of identity
  • Two-factor
  • Geo-blocking
HOW TO USE

How this index is arranged

The terms are grouped by stage, from the account basics to the checks that can hold a withdrawal. Read the basic terms first, then the advanced ones, because the later definitions depend on the earlier steps.

GROUPS

Terms by stage

Each group matches a stage in the account path. Use it to find the right definition when a message asks for a document or a code.

  • Account stage

One account, the minimum age and email verification belong here.

  • Identity stage

KYC, proof of identity and the accepted documents belong here.

  • Withdrawal stage

Level 2 and the crypto and local-currency withdrawal rules belong here.

  • Security stage

Two-factor authentication and password resets belong here.

EXAMPLES

How the terms appear in practice

These short examples show how the terms can appear in an account. The exact wording on screen may differ, so the account message is the reference for each case.

  • A document request

A message asks for proof of identity before a withdrawal. Upload an original, high-resolution colour photo of the physical document.

  • An email code

The account asks you to confirm your email. Enter the code from Confirm Your Email, or finish the step later under Settings > Account > Email.
