Crash rules for new players

Crash is a fast game built on one rising multiplier. Players choose when to cash out before the round ends, so the rules are short but the timing matters. This guide explains the round, the cash-out choice and the limits to set before you start.

OVERVIEW

How a crash round unfolds

A round starts with a multiplier that rises over time, and a bet is placed before the round begins. The player chooses when to cash out. If the round ends before a cash-out, the stake is lost. Round length and the pace of the multiplier are set by the game, so read the game information for the version you play.

PLAY FEATURES

Main controls in a crash round

Crash games share a few common controls. The layout and options depend on the game, so the in-game labels are the reference.

  • Manual cash-out

The player presses cash out before the round ends to lock in the multiplier shown at that moment.

  • Auto cash-out

Where the game offers it, a target multiplier can be set so that cash-out happens automatically once that value is reached.

  • Round information

Some crash games show a list of earlier round results. Where a game shows one, treat it as information only and do not read past rounds as a pattern.

RULES AND LIMITS

How a crash round ends and what that means for you

A round ends at a point the game determines, and a stake pays only if cash-out happens before that point. No strategy changes the randomness of a round.

  • Crash point

Some crash games say the crash point is set before the round starts. Where the game information describes this, read it before you play.

  • Timing

Choosing a cash-out point is a decision made without knowing the crash point. A higher target pays more only when the round lasts long enough to reach it.

  • Session limits

Set a loss limit or a wager limit before the session starts. Stake offers daily, weekly or monthly loss limits and wager limits.

BASIS

Where the rules here come from

The explanations describe how crash games work in general. They do not describe a specific Stake game, and the game information is the reference for any single title.

  • General mechanics

The rising multiplier, the cash-out choice and the round end are common to crash games.

  • Terms and help centre

Stake's terms cover responsibility and account restrictions, and the help centre has a casino section for game topics.

TERMS

Crash terms explained

Definitions of the words used in crash round descriptions.

What is a multiplier?

The number that grows during a round. A cash-out locks in the value shown at that moment.

What is cash-out?

Cash-out ends your part in a round and pays the stake multiplied by the value you locked in.

What is auto cash-out?

A preset target that cashes out automatically when it is reached, where the game offers the option.

What is a round?

One run from the start of the multiplier to the crash. A stake is settled once you cash out or the round ends.

FAQ

Crash rules questions

Short answers on how crash rounds work and what to set before playing.

Can I win every round?

No. The round ends at a point the player cannot see in advance, so cash-out timing cannot guarantee a result.

Is there a strategy that works?

This guide does not offer one. Set limits and a session budget before you start.

Should I use auto cash-out?

It is an option where the game provides it. The choice depends on your own limits, and this guide does not recommend a target value.

What limits can I set?

Stake offers daily, weekly or monthly loss limits, wager limits and daily deposit limits. Product exclusion and breaks are also available.
