START RULESThree account rules to read first
Three rules decide whether an account can be used without trouble: one account per player, a minimum age that applies where you live, and identity checks that Stake may request at any time. None of them is hard to follow, but each is easier to handle when you know it before the account is opened.
One account per player
Stake's terms allow one account for each player. If a duplicate is found, Stake can close it and hold the funds in it, so open a single account and keep your details consistent.
Minimum age
Applicants must be at least 18 or the legal age of majority where they live, whichever is higher. Stake may ask for proof of age at any time, so keep an accepted identity document ready.
Accurate location
The terms forbid using a VPN, proxy or false residence details to get around geo-blocking or jurisdiction limits. Register with your real location details, because a mismatch can restrict the account later.
GAME LINKSBeginner rules for each game category
Each game guide explains the rules of one category, so you know how a round or match works before you join it. Cricket follows its own format rules, football follows the rules of the match itself, and casino games such as roulette, baccarat and crash each run under their own mechanics. The guides describe how these games work in general and promise no result.
CONTENT NOTEGame information and where to check it
Each game shows its own information inside the game screen, and Stake's help centre is the place to check account and casino topics. Read the in-game information before you play, and treat third-party summaries with caution, since they can describe rules that differ from the version you see.

ACCOUNT SECURITYProtecting the account on any device
Two-factor authentication adds a second check to your account, and password resets follow different routes depending on how the account was opened. Set both up before you need them.
Two-factor authentication
Stake supports two-factor authentication through an authenticator app, set up under Settings > Security. It covers logins, withdrawals, tips and other outgoing transfers.
Password reset
The Forgot Password form resets the password through the verified email on the account. Accounts that signed up through Facebook, Google, Line or Twitch reset the password on that platform instead.
